Can I visit a patient?
Yes, you can. Visiting hours are restricted between 12.30 and 2pm and after 8pm. In Yandilla, it is preferred people visit in the afternoon, to allow new parents to bond in the morning and see the doctors on their rounds.
Wyuna does not have an afternoon visitor restriction.
There are no time restrictions in the nursing homes for visitors. It is their home.

X-ray and radiology services. When can I get an x-ray?
Radiology services at Wimmera Health Care Group are provided by an external provider, Wimmera Radiology. They operate Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm by appointment (emergency on call capabilities when requested by a doctor). They can be contacted on 03 5381 9236.

Where is pathology?
Pathology is located behind the Arapiles Building and the Wimmera Nursing Home. It is along the path from the Day Centre. A map showing its location is available here.

Can I use my private health insurance even though you are a public hospital?

Can I volunteer at Wimmera Health Care Group?
Yes you can. There are a large range of volunteering positions and a Volunteer Co-ordinator who can be contacted on 5381 9347.

What are the kiosk opening hours?
The kiosk is open from 8.30am to 4.15pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). After hours there is a vending machine near the admission office at front reception.

Do you have an ATM onsite?
No, unfortunately we do not. Bills can paid via eftpos at the front reception.
