For over 130 years, Grampians Health Horsham and Dimboola (formerly Wimmera Health Care Group) has been touching the lives of families and individuals across the Wimmera region.
Donations to Grampians Health Horsham and Dimboola are always welcome and help us to improve the facilities and services we provide, with all funds raised in Horsham staying in Horsham, and all funds raised in Dimboola, staying in Dimboola.
Donations over $2 are tax deductible and we are very grateful for all the support we receive.
How You Can Support Grampians Health Horsham and Dimboola
One of the ways you can support Grampians Health Horsham and Dimboola is by making a donation or bequest. The choice is entirely yours as to where you would like to direct your gift to us.
You may choose to support Grampians Health Dimboola or Grampians Health Horsham as a whole, or specify a particular department within the organisation that is close to your heart. The enormous support we receive from the many individuals, staff, businesses, community groups, philanthropic trusts and others who donate funds and provide support to Grampians Health Horsham and Dimboola is greatly appreciated.
We also appreciate the contribution made by our auxiliaries and support groups, namely the Dimboola Campus Appeals Auxiliary, Dimboola East Ladies Auxiliary, Kurrajong Lodge Support Group, Wimmera Base Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, Wimmera Health Care Group Foundation Trustees and the Wimmera Hospice Care Auxiliary and Wimmera Hospice Care Trust. Each of these groups plays a very important role within the organisation. The special people who make up these groups work tirelessly throughout the year raising funds to purchase much needed equipment for Grampians Health.

Wimmera Health Care Group Foundation
The Wimmera Health Care Group Foundation raises money through donations, bequests and fundraising. These donations are invested wisely and the income earned is used to fund special projects at the Horsham and Dimboola campuses of Grampians Health, which directly benefits the people of the Wimmera and guarantees the highest quality health care.

The WHCG Foundation donates over $100,000 to the Horsham and Dimboola campuses each year.
Some projects funded by the Foundation include:
$420,000 – Wimmera Cancer Centre Project ($70,000 pledged in 2019/20 financial year)
$128,000 – Two endobase camera stack systems for theatre department.
$60,000 – Two birthing beds for Yandilla maternity unit
$65,000 – Ultrasound equipment for theatre and emergency department
$50,000 – Rotary House
$50,000 – Breast cancer surgical equipment
$42,000 – Theatre tracking equipment system
$40,000 – Kurrajong Lodge
$30,000 – Wall desks in Oxley and Yandilla wards
$30,000 – Adult Rehabilitation Garden
$23,000 – Colposcope for diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer
$15,000 – Paediatric Rehabilitation Garden
$13,000 – Patient lifter for Dimboola Hospital
$9,000 – Patient trolley and mobile defibrillator (Dimboola campus)

With the passing of our esteemed colleague, Alan's family would appreciate expressions of condolence by team members, community members/groups and colleagues from the medical fraternity far and wide be made in the form of a donation to Grampians Health Horsham.
