Wimmera Health Care Group is inviting the communities of the Wimmera and Southern Mallee to tour the new Wimmera Cancer Centre.
As a way of saying ‘thank you’ for all the support over the past 4 years, Wimmera Health Care Group CEO Catherine Morley said the health service is throwing opening the doors of the centre to the public from 10am-1pm on Saturday, February 16 and Sunday, February 17.
“We are very excited to have an opportunity to show members of the public through our wonderful new centre,” Ms Morley said.
“Everyone is welcome to see the centre for themselves, and soak up all the hard work the community has done to fundraise for this facility.”
Horsham Lions Club will be in the carpark with a barbecue lunch and also selling drinks. Representatives from Wimmera Health Care Group and some of the major contributors will also be at the event.
Wimmera Cancer Centre is located on the corner of Robinson and Arnott Streets in Horsham.
