Service Description/Overview

Cardiac Rehabilitation is an eight week exercise and education program that helps you to:

• Learn more about your condition and treatment including warning signs and what to do in an emergency
• Get back to your usual activities
• Make lifestyle changes to improve your health including assistance to stop smoking
• Manage your medications

If you have been in hospital recently with a heart problem, then you should attend Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Additional Information

The program runs every Tuesday afternoon. A Dietitian, Cardiac Nurse and Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist will be present.
