Wimmera Health Care Group wants the community to be aware of parking changes made at the Horsham campus to make more parking available for patients and visitors.

Chief executive officer Catherine Morley said the changes came about after community feedback showed people were not happy with the amount of parking available, especially to access the Emergency Department during business hours.

"We are listening to the community and we have made some changes to the carpark in between the Arapiles Building and the Emergency Department," Ms Morley said.

"That car park is now designated for patients and visitors of the Emergency Department or patients going to appointments in the Arapiles Building."

Ms Morley said the changes complement the large car park that was added at the rear of the hospital to encourage team members not to take parks in the premium positions near the main entrances.

"We have made these changes to try and ease the burden on people finding parking but we understand it can still be difficult during peak appointment times," she said.

"We are always working to try and improve the parking situation at the Horsham campus.

"We value feedback and use this to improve our services."
