Wimmera Health Care Group has received a barbecue from the Lions Club to improve the lifestyle and leisure activities for residents at Kurrajong Lodge.
Horsham Lions Club member Ivan Smith recently presented the residents and team at Kurrajong Lodge with the barbecue. Lions Club members Allan Martin and ‘master of the bbq’ Cyril Carracher cooked a barbecue lunch for the residents.
"We’ll be happy to come and cook a barbecue in the future for the residents and their families as well," Mr Smith said.
Wimmera Health Care Group’s director of residential services Maree Woodhouse said the donation was much appreciated.
"We’ll get a lot of use from this barbecue, especially with the warmer weather on the way," Ms Woodhouse said.
"Barbecue’s provide a great atmosphere and both the residents and their families will be able to enjoy this donation."
Horsham Lions Club actively services the Grampians and Horsham communities with many different projects.
