Wimmera Health Care Group is excited to announce their updated website incorporating the extensive range of services they offer.

Following a communications survey in the Horsham Plaza, Wimmera Health Care Group Communications Manager Amelia Crafter said it’s vital for an organisation servicing the community to get feedback from members of that community.

“One of the outcomes of the survey, was people wanted to know more about the services Wimmera Health Care Group offer,” Mrs Crafter said.

“We always had a services section on our website, and following the feedback we received, it is now a more extensive list.

“We have such a wide range of services and possibly a lot that people don’t know about so we wanted to make sure that information was available.”

The healthcare group website is www.whcg.org.au and under ‘Services’ people will find a list of 60 services.

“People can find out information about these services such as how to contact them, a description of the service, if they are eligible and if there are any fees,” Mrs Crafter said.

“We understand not everybody has access to the internet, so people can still call the hospital on 5381 9111 and be transferred to the service they require.”

Wimmera Health Care Group encourages community members who have internet access, and are on Facebook, to like the Wimmera Health Care Group Facebook page.

“Facebook is a great communication tool and we post articles including health advice, outbreak information, Wimmera Cancer Centre, funding and general updates, such as the two new doctors working at the Wimmera Medical Centre.”
