Wimmera Health Care Group has 23 more car parks designated for patient and client use only.

The car park on Baillie Street between the Arapiles Building and Emergency Department was previously used by members of the public and staff. The spaces are now designated for patients and clients only and signage has been placed in the area to inform the public.

Wimmera Health Care Group chief executive Chris Scott said with the addition of the car park in Arnott Street, staff no longer need to utilise the Baillie Street car park.

"We are very happy to have these parks designated to clients and patients only. The car park is in a very central location so it is best used by people needing our services," Mr Scott said.

"The parks are split between Community Rehabilitation clients, radiology, general allied health clients and patients to the Emergency Department."

Signage stating ‘Allied Health Clients Only’ refers to people seeing the team of allied health professionals, including physiotherapists, dietitians, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and podiatrists. Other signage specifically states parking for general patients or patients specifically using either radiology, Emergency Department or Community Rehabilitation clients.
