Service Description/Overview
The support group can help participants and their families/carers share information and ideas about their lung disease and its management.
Participants have a common personal interest in chronic lung disease and strong connections are frequently made that are long lasting.
Additional Information
Wimmera Health Care Group Lung Support Group is run on a monthly basis at the Lutheran Retirement Village Community Centre and facilitated by a welfare worker and respiratory nursing staff.
The group meets the 4th Monday of every month at 10.30am – 12pm and includes morning tea and focuses on group discussions, individual support and various guest speakers.
